Monitoring Self-Harming Patients in the ED

Participants in the hospital setting will become aware of environmental objects and issues that can increase risk for patient self-harm. They will recognize how their attitudes can interfere with providing quality care to these patients and will comprehend the need for and contents of currentpolicies and procedures focused on care and safety for inpatients experiencing self-harm or suicidal thoughts.
