Course Description: This course is designed to increase the knowledge and insight of the healthcare provider as it relates to customer service.

Credit Statements:

Social Workers: This program has been approved for 1.5 clock hours of non-social work continuing education by Upstate AHEC, as part of the SC AHEC system, under its accreditation by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners.

Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists: This program has been approved for 1.5 hours of continuing education by SC AHEC under its accreditation by the SC Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and Psycho-Educational Specialists.

Respiratory Care Practitioners: 1.5 clock hour will be awarded by Upstate AHEC, an approved provider of continuing education for respiratory care practitioners by the SC Board of Medical Examiners.

Licensed Nurses:  Upstate AHEC is an accredited provider of Nursing Professional Development by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation.  Upon successful completion of this program, participants will receive 1.5 contact hours.

Others: This educational offering provides 0.15 CEUs ( 1.5 clock hours) by Upstate AHEC and meets SC AHEC Best Practice Standards.
