Course Description: This course is intended to increase the participant's knowledge of long acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) available in the United States, discuss the CDC US Medical Eligibility Criteria for Contraception, discuss how to provide contraceptive counseling without coercion and how to manage the side effects of LARCs.

Learning Outcomes: After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:

Identify the LARCs available in the United States.

Discuss the Centers for Disease control and Prevention's (CDC) US Medical Eligibility Criteria for Contraception.

Discuss how to provide contraceptive counseling without coercion.

Explain how to manage the common side effects of LARCs.
