This course will provide nurses with the basic pronunciation and vocabulary needed to communicate with Spanish speaking patients.

After completing this activity the participant will be able to:
- Review and practice the basics of Spanish pronunciation.
- Use Spanish to greet patients and visitors, gather personal data, receive and make calls and assist walk-in patients
- Develop and/or extend a base vocabulary of medical terms and phrases in Spanish
