This class is designed to increase the participants recognition of the signs and symptoms of this deadly syndrome.

After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Describe the pathophysiological changes associated with MODS (Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome).
  2. Review observable changes during a clinical assessment which may indicate impending MODS.
