This course will provide participants with an update on current pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management interventions for hypertension.

After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Review the concepts and principles related to clinical decision-making in the pathophysiology of hypertension and its contribution to target organ damage and cardiovascular disease.
- Identify comorbidities and other clinical factors that contribute to cardiovascular risk and other associated adverse events.
- Discuss currently available strategies for the pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management of hypertension.
- Outline clinical guidelines for interventions based available research data and current clinical practice guidelines.
