After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Recognize the purpose and importance of triage.
- Categorize based on the 5 level Emergency Severity Index triage system.
- Recognize how clinical assessments by the experienced nurse are imperative to the correct acuity assessment.
- Demonstrate the use of the ESI 5 level triage system.
