Length of Course
Licensed Nurses: Upstate AHEC is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This continuing education activity is approved for 2.75 contact hour for licensed nurses and 1.25 pharmacology hour.
Dietitians: 2.75 hours of CPE for registered dietitians.
Social Workers: This program has been approved for 2.75 clock hours of non-social work continuing education by Upstate AHEC, as part of the SC AHEC system, under its accreditation by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners.
Respiratory Care Practitioners: 2.75 clock hours will be awarded by Upstate AHEC, an approved provider of continuing education for respiratory care practitioners by the SC Board of Medical Examiners.
